Vermont Historical Records Survey published & unpublished reports, 1938-1942.

The collection is organized in two series, published and unpublished inventories. The first series contains mostly inventories of town, village, and city archives in Vermont. The series also includes three reports related to church archives and the final report of the Vermont Historical Records Survey. The second series contains unpublished, draft booklets of inventories of Vermont churches. These are not duplicated in the stacks of the VHS. These inventories are arranged the way the VHRS created them: by denomination and then alphabetically by town.
